Being the parent of a teenager is difficult enough without
worrying about how your child is coping in this era of campus
discord and violence. What can you do to help your child not be
a victim or a bully?
The reality is that teaching how to manage and resolve conflict
is complex and we don't always have the time, energy or access
to our kids. You can, however, suggest to your school that they
make conflict management education part of the curriculum for
every child.
The course we have created is specially tailored for students
in grades 8-12. Because it's delivered over the Internet, students
can proceed at their own pace. The lessons include real-life scenarios
that sometimes are difficult for kids to discuss with an adult.
In addition, the Conflict Management course helps parents understand
these crucial life skills by including lessons for parents as
well as for students and teachers.
Schools need to hear directly from parents that conflict management
education is important and in today's world, essential. The Conflict
Management course helps teach these crucial life skills. Tell
your school about it.
